After leaving Buddy and TheCrickets, Waylon become a part time disc jockeyalong with his music
career. After a time wefind Waylon in Phoenix along with his hitrecord. "Four Strong Winds" played on both thepopular and country radio stations.
Thenext big step for Waylon was opening at J.D.'sthe biggest night spot in the South-westwhich is unique in the fact that it has twofloors which supplies two bandssimul-taneously for the listening anddancing pleasure for all taste. A rock 'n rollband in the botton floor and Waylon Jennings'country and western on the top floor.
TheStyle Waylon has brought to J.D.'s at tractscapacity crowds. His music is a mixture ofcountry, rock, blues and modernsounds.
