Live in London, October 1st, 1980. Girlschool are not only the longest running all-female rock band in history, with over 40 years under their belts, but they're one of the original pioneers of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal. Formed in 1978, the group first caught large scale attention when they toured with Motörhead in 1979, thanks to the fact that Lemmy was a big fan. This live set, recorded in October of 1980, just a few months after the release of their debut album Demolition, is a ripping document of their early, and heavy, sound. Absolutely essential high quality live set from some true British Heavy Metal innovators.
