The Roughneck is born from a boot that was first made for oil rig workers in the mid-20th century. The rig workers did notoriously dangerous work and were known by the nickname "roughnecks." The Roughneck is built tough to honor the legacy of those workers, with a 6-inch height for support and protection, thick, durable leathers and an aggressive lugged Vibram® outsole for grip on any surface. The boot is built with long-lasting Puritan triple-stitch construction and a Goodyear welt that makes it fully resoleable for years of reliable wear.
