The Umeå band, which was formed in Umeå in 1992, received a Grammy for "Do Not Tailgate" in 1995 and later broke through in USA. With "Elite" (2000) the band got a more dynamic sound and with their own studio they got a more relaxing and extremential atmosphere. In 2003, their last album, "Get Shot", came with an outside producer and after an intense tour that followed, the band took a long break. In 2016 the members reunited for some sold-out concerts in Scandinavia, but after that Frans and Per left and Fireside was put on hold again. Now the band is back, with an eight-track LP that brings back the "Elite" sound and will only be released on physical LP initially, not streaming!
