On Los Angeles, Franska Trion create a strange and compelling world where raw rock, jazz, chanson and Swedish melancholy collide. The songs are dramatic, playful and slightly unhinged, shifting effortlessly from intimate piano passages to explosive, full-bodied arrangements. Despite its title, this is no Hollywood fantasy. It is Franska Trion's own crooked universe, filled with dark humour, existential observations and unforgettable melodies. An eccentric and richly atmospheric album that refuses to sound like anything else.
