''Airsteps are no different from all other dancesteps in Lindy Hop.
It is just dancing in the air!''
- Frankie Manning
Frankie Manning and Freida Washington invented the first ground-breaking airstep called ''over the back'' in 1935.
He and all dancers of Whitey's Lindy Hoppers are the greatest inspiration for Hanna and Mattias.
An airstep should be executed just like any other basic step of Lindy Hop: in time with your partner and most importantly with the music.
Hanna and Mattias give step-by-step instructions how tp warm up, to spot and to leran six airsteps:
Over The Back, Sideflip, Over The Head, Cradle, Small Dive and Little Roll.
They also show three basic steps of Lindy Hop and many veriations like Swing Out, Charleston Inside-Kicks and Under-The-Arch.
