The Interrupters have slowly but surely, and with a lot of hard work, built up their fan base. On the album "In The Wild" their mix of rock, ska and punk is a breath of fresh air in an otherwise oh-so-predictable genre. Aimee Interrupter's slightly hoarse, expressive voice floats over the songs she wrote, the songs that allowed her to process her own traumatic upbringing. Although this is not one
depressing album, on the contrary, it celebrates change (for the better), joie de vivre, love and friendship. The band consisting of Aimee and the three brothers Kevin, Jesse and Justin used the corona lockdown to build their own home studio and really get that sound they were always chasing. Guests include Tim Armstrong (Rancid), Rhoda Dakar (The Bodysnatchers, The Specials) and Hepcat.
