Kristofer Åström has for many years been an acclaimed singer-songwriter. He has a background as a singer in Fireside, but Åström has released a solo album for a little over 20 years.
There he has chosen to perform on some acoustic rock, folk rock and country. It is also melancholy in the songs that has given us - and still gives us.
Kristofer Åström does this terribly well. This melancholy music, the equally melancholy song and the lyrics it feels as melancholy as going for a walk in your solitude on a rainy November night.
You get caught up in this very easily and you really do not want to miss anything. The first time the record got started, not even Inbetween had time to spin in goal before it was time to start again and it's a bit like that song after song. You really want to hear everything.
Then it will be a record that is very good already after a gig, but it is even better after ten listens. Yes, then this is on the verge of radiant.
Åström also offers a little varied songs. It's some song that's a little more country and someone else's more rock, but the common thread in this is the melancholy feeling that all songs send out.
