HepCat Day started as a modest gathering of friends with a shared passion for craftsmanship and culture, but over the years it has grown into one of Lund's most unique meeting places. Founded in Canada by a group of fabric nerds with what can only be described as “reckless access” to Japanese mills, Naked & Famous Denim has spent the last two decades asking questions like:

“What if we made heavyweight selvedge denim so stiff it could legally qualify as light armor?”

“What if traditional craftsmanship met absolute goblin-level experimentation?”

The result is some of the most interesting and experimental denim on the planet: slubby textures, natural indigo fades, weird fibers, Chocolate Milk Yarns, impossibly dense weaves, and seasonal fabrics that sound too crazy to be real. Think cashmere denim. Think glow-in-the-dark selvedge. Think 40oz denim that stands up in the corner like it’s waiting for its turn to speak.

But underneath all the chaos is something serious: exceptional Japanese fabric, meticulous construction, and fits that actually make sense in the real world, cut and proudly sewn in Canada.
