On Saturday, May 30, 2026, Hepcat Day returns to Lund for a full day of music, craftsmanship, food and community. The area around Hepcat Store at Sankt Lars transforms into a vibrant festival ground, welcoming visitors from Lund, the rest of Sweden and across the world.

What started as a gathering between friends has grown into one of Lund’s largest recurring events, yet the core remains the same: timeless style, genuine craftsmanship, good music and meaningful encounters between people. Expect live performances, international brands, local creators, barbers, artists, food and drinks of the highest quality and that special Hepcat atmosphere that is hard to describe but easy to feel.

Last year’s appreciated flea market is back in 2026, alongside new participants from both Lund and abroad. This will be our most international edition yet.

The Live Music Lineup

Music has always been at the heart of Hepcat Day. Throughout the day, live acts take the stage, from local performers to artists with international roots. Get ready to have the atmosphere vibrating all day long!

• J.Tex (US/DK)
For those who haven't heard J.Tex before, he will surprise you. Join a journey with his guitar and voice. Jens comes from Copenhagen, but with roots that grow deep in Detroit. His lyrics, style, and passion for music are small pieces of history, tributes to the traditions that form the foundation of the Americana genre.

• HAKET (SE/Skåne)
Expect biting countryside rock in the broadest Scanian dialect, grumpy working-class pride, and ragamuffin-romantic everyday observations soaked in soulful melodies. They have the songs and the stories. Right hooks and rock punches are swung in all directions. Singer Conny Andersson becomes the messy anti-hero personified, and together with guitarist Patrik Månsson, drummer Mark Lowery, and bassist Clark Mattias Vesterberg, they are more toxic than ever. Following their spring 2023 debut, they just released their second album, "Hotell Bredaväg", featuring the country-tinged tear-jerker single "Buddy". Come and enjoy.

• El Ray - Kickass Surf’n'Instro Music (DK)
Ladies and gentlemen! Copenhagen, Denmark. Perhaps not the most obvious place for a band with the clear surf imprint that El Ray carries. However, the band displays great versatility in their sound and a knack for catchy, foot-stomping melodies that take the listener both into – and beyond – the clichés of the surf genre. El Ray combines a fresh and modern style with a respectful nod to the history of surf music – it's “surf with a twist.” El Ray welcomes you to the new classic sound.

What is Hepcat Day?
