The New Speedway Kings were starting to break into the light when the singer met his end in 1997. They were about to release another EP, and the demos that leaked showed amazing progress. Many of the guitars are reminiscent of the Sex Pistols and the vocals sound like Green Day during their pre-dookie days, perhaps even more of Pinhead Gunpowder. A great punk version of Michael Stipes ´´Everything´´ also finds its way on the EP. Extremely enjoyable, a must have.
