J. Tex & the Volunteers are still one of Denmark's strongest, swinging and true roots music bands.
Without loosing its grounding in the tradition of American folk music, J. Tex & the Volunteers have with "House on the Hill" created a more inclusive and diverse album.
J. Tex are born in Detroit, USA and lives today in Copenhagen, Denmark. This is the third album from the band. They was nominated for best country album in Denmark 2007.
"House on the Hill" is made of six home crafted songs written by J. Tex, as well as interpretations of Johnny Cash, Steve Earle and "Little Feat." Enjoy!
