The Mountain Jacket is crafted from Manifattura Ceccarelli’s most famous fabric: a high-quality Waxed Cotton (WX) that is both water-repellent and breathable. The interior is lined with a warm wool-fleece (Bear lining: 90% wool, 10% polyester), while the sleeves are padded with pure virgin wool wadding. This combination of natural materials effectively retains body heat while moisture is wicked away from the skin.
The wide and enveloping hood is lined with the same warm wool-fleece and can be adjusted with natural leather drawstrings for an optimal fit. An additional elastic drawstring at the back of the hood ensures that it follows your head movements without restricting your peripheral vision. The jacket features a functional design with a longer back for added protection, and the fit can be tailored using internal drawstrings at both the waist and the hem.
Storage is ample, featuring two large front pockets with both zippers and snap buttons, along with a spacious internal zipped security pocket. The front closure features a heavy-duty double-slider zipper covered by a windproof storm flap with snap buttons. The sleeves are equipped with internal elastic cuffs and adjustable straps at the wrists to block out the cold. Every snap button is reinforced with natural leather discs, and all seams are sewn with water-repellent thread.
