Reeperbahn was born in the spring of '78 by Olle Ljungström and Dan Sundquist after 2 years of planning and songwriting in various band constellations. Olle had early ambitious dreams of becoming something big, Olle and Dan, complete with the tasteful guitarist Eddie Sjöberg and the stable drummer Peter Korhonen, a musical and very opinionated unit. The Reeperbahn became very popular but never reached the masses until they appeared as Nürnberg 47 in the Film G in 1983.
