This is music that stretches boundaries, moving fluidly between genres where improvisation, groove and artistic intuition coexist. The music ascends further with the help of some of Sweden's most compelling musicians. Drummer Moussa Fadera, known for his work with Daniel Ögren, Melody's Echo Chamber and First Aid Kit, provides an unshakable rhythmic pulse. Pianist and keyboardist Jesper Nordenström, heard on recordings with Carly Rae Jepsen, Iris Viljanen, Goran Kajfes and Stina Nordenstam, adds his distinctive harmonic colors. From the Svenska Folkjazzkvartetten, Isak Hedtjärn and Jonas Liljeberg infuse the soundscape with powerful saxophones, flutes and clarinets and unexpected textures.
