Sound carrier is not a cheesy compilation of well-known Album songs - it is much more. You get new, seldom and unreleased stuff of the involved bands.
The offbeat comes from the Voralberger band "SIR PSYCHO AND HIS MONSTERS" probably the youngest Punkabillyband of Austria, because their members are in the age of 16 till 20 years. Their style is a diabolically massacre with a whiff of country, fast punkrock and great rock n roll - they call it "monsterbilly". The second act is the Viennese band "BLOODSUCKING ZOMBIES FROM OUTER SPACE" and they have three new compositions you will not find in the new album. At the moment the zombies are the well-known Psychobilly/Horrorpunk import of Austria and that demonstrates the guys around DEAD GAIN are very well at the cd. MOONSTRUCK is dead, long life for MOONSTRUCK. The combo was formed 2004 in Graz . After only three years of playing the founder and singer was moving to Sweden why the band was abrogated. Nevertheless they have published a demo in their old home country which includes these three classical Psychobilly songs.
Meanwhile there are the Swedish MOONSTRUCKS and the LUNATICS BASTARDS plays in Graz . The last mentioned bands doesn't exist also because of the songs were published ex post. BRAIN DEAD, an Austrian band too, was already formed in 1995 but in 2000 the band was breaking. From this time are the different pieces of music which includes the sampler. The guys are a surprising band with an intensive, own and distinctive Punk`n´Roll style. THE HOUNTED PROSONERS came from Austria , too. 2002 was the foundation with also two guys from BRAIN DEAD. Their sound is an explosive mix with Garage, Swing, Rock`n´Roll and Rockabilly, Psychobilly elements, of course. The new CD has a complex full-coloured-Digi Pack with a four-sided booklet which is containing a transparent tray. Details about the bands and introductive texts are also included. The first-class cover artwork stems from Norman Winter. The Sampler is limited to 2000 pieces worldwide.
