ROCKABILLY, 50'S, R'N'R

Rockabilly was created by Bill Haley and his Comets and others. Elvis Presley and Sam Phillips on Sun Records made the rockabilly bigger around 1954. The music is a mix of country, hillbilly music, and blues and is one of the earliest stages of rock music. The instuments are mainly half acoustic  electric guitar and stand up bass. On the bass you hit the strings in a special way called "slap-back".
