For the construction of the CD-3, they built off of their denim jacket silhouette and modified it. This started by removing the front patch pockets and changed the side pockets to welts. The cuff is modified and the classic zigzag is updated to double needle. They've added fringe to the seams which was traditionally used for wicking water away from the garment. The fringe helps the water to run off the garment. However, we do not recommend testing this out with this jacket because the rain can change the shade of the leather.
