CARE
Do not wash or dry clean - brush or wipe clean with a damp rag. Rewax as needed to maintain water resistance.
The Down Cruiser's shell is mostly built with Cover Cloth, Filson's lightest-weight oil finish waxed fabric, ensuring maximum water resistance. Shelter Cloth, a midweight oil-finish fabric, is used for the pockets and lower back for added durability. The goose down insulation consists of large clusters that trap heat, remaining the champion of lightweight warmth for centuries. All down is processed in bluesign-approved facilities and follows the Responsible Down Standard (RDS).
Heritage Engineering
Every aspect of this jacket is considered for heavy-duty protection. The merino wool lining in the collar ensures warmth even if snow blows under your hat, and the pocket design has proven itself since 1914. With its rugged Dark Tan finish, this jacket ages gracefully, developing a unique character over time. It is a timeless piece of heritage gear engineered to provide warmth and protection across every mile of your winter journey.
