At the time, many unique novelty items were produced using iron and brass, many of which were made in France. This ring was inspired by a key ring made to hold keys together, and features a flat head stamp.
Although it is made of iron, it is treated with anti-rust coating to prevent rust, and the more you use it, the darker and duller luster that is characteristic of iron will appear.
