This is a compilation from Mortarhate Records which was originally released in 1984. It contains tracks from a number of anarchist and ´human rights´ punk bands from the UK and is a fairly varied selection of anarcho punk. Mortarhate Records was initially set-up by the group Conflict and they released lots of stuff from a number of anarcho punk bands from that era.
In 1984, Conflict launched their Mortarhate label, after splitting from the Crass label. Their first album was this multi-punk artist compilation, featuring exclusive tracks from established and new bands from the thriving anarcho-punk scene. The LP instantly leapt to no. 3 in the UK Indie Chart.
