This is a perfectly done set of good time blues, with horns! Lucky is a awesome boogie-woogie, barrelhouse blues piano player, who plays with a lot of power and swing. This is a tight band, and yes it is a different band from his other great later band Rhumba Bums, which are swing & jump blues. While this cd has many great tracks for dancing, and a few jump blues, it is just enjoyable party blues fun music, that generally swings hard.
