A Refined Japanese Take on the Classic Henley
The Good On Long Sleeve Henley T-Shirt (GOLT1601) is a staple item produced every year for early autumn and spring. Directing the beloved details of Good On's short-sleeved summer Henley into a long-sleeved silhouette, this piece avoids the aggressive, overly casual feel of military and workwear Henleys. By narrowing the placket and neck ribbing and applying clean flat-stitch construction, Good On delivers a delicate, relaxed neckline that gives a calm and smart impression.
Signature Tubular Knit & Custom Fit
Built using Good On’s standard tubular knit fabric, the GOLT1601 lacks side seams, providing a smooth profile that mirrors the brand's basic crew neck T-shirts. The neckline is cut slightly wider than a standard crew neck, offering an easygoing alternative that integrates seamlessly into any heritage, workwear, or everyday wardrobe.
Garment Dyeing & Unique Patina
Good On’s garment-dyeing process gives each piece its distinctive character:
- Reactive Dye Colors: Offer beautiful, subdued hues with a clean, simple finish that is easy to mix and match.
- Pigment Dye Colors: Highlight the uneven texture of the 5.5 oz fabric. With every wash, pigment dye slowly fades from the surface seams, creating high-contrast texture and an authentic vintage look.

Care & Fitting Notes
Because these garments are fully washed and tumble-dried during the garment-dyeing process, they arrive pre-shrunk. As you wear the shirt, the tightly woven 5.5 oz cotton fibers will loosen up and conform naturally to your body. Slight variations in color shade, subtle seam abrasions, and white lines on sleeve seams (inherent to pigment dyeing) are normal characteristics that highlight the authenticity of the material. We recommend washing separately for the first few laundries to prevent color bleeding.
