Sometime after the release of their LP, they disbanded with several of the members going on to form a relatively short-lived band called Balance. Not too long after that, the guitarist (Joe Kiser) and vocalist (Frank Lacatena) put together a new effort that was initially called Closure, but is now called The Sophomore Effort. Kiser also plays in Murder-Suicide Pact, as well as Exitsect (featuring members of Obituary, Six Feet Under and Assuck), and drummer Rob Sexton would go on to play in the almighty Failure Face. Slap Of Reality reformed in 1996 and recorded an LP called "Monkeydust" on Runt Records. Rumors of a reunion show in 2010 and a new lp and tours to follow are floating around!
