TSPTR Aloha from Hell T-Shirt follows the stories of the G.I's who resorted to surfing the Mekong river delta during the Vietnam war. What now has become iconic in popular culture, and solidified in film history via Apocalypse Now, these river surfers gained fame through their pastime of surfing which was a means to escape the death and destruction of the war. What started out as a small outpost would grow into a full blown surfing club, even with surf boards being illegally smuggled in to the base.
