The New Fisherman Parka is constructed from Manifattura Ceccarelli’s signature Waxed Cotton (WX), a fabric that is both wind and water-repellent while maintaining breathability. The body is lined with quilted cotton and padded with 100% pure virgin wool wadding, providing natural and efficient insulation. The sleeves are lined with Cupro for smoothness and are also padded with wool for optimal temperature regulation.
Functionality is the defining feature of this parka. Externally, it features two large front pockets with flaps and snap buttons, two handwarmer pockets at the top, and two large rear "hunter" or game pockets with zippers. Internally, there are three zipped security pockets, dedicated pen slots, and a headphone port. The fixed hood includes a front drawstring to ensure a tight seal around the face for complete protection against the elements.
The fit can be easily adjusted with an internal drawstring at the waist to block out the cold and tailor the silhouette. The front closure features a heavy-duty double-slider zipper covered by a windproof storm flap with snap buttons. The sleeves are equipped with internal elastic cuffs and adjustable straps at the wrists. Every snap button is reinforced with natural leather discs, and all seams are sewn with water-repellent thread for long-lasting durability.
