The technical brilliance of this light grey hoodie lies in its rare manufacturing method. Today, there are only around 400 authentic loopwheel machines remaining in Wakayama, Japan, with only about half of them in operation at any given time. These slow-moving machines were the industry standard from the 1920s through the 1960s before being replaced by high-speed modern equipment favored for efficiency and lower costs. The reward for this patience is an incredibly soft fleece lining and a seamless, durable exterior that handles washing beautifully.
