True Blue was a German Hardcore that formed in 1998 after Spawn had broken up. The idea of forming the band was to bring the different sections of the hardcore scene back together. True Blue had a clear message that ''hardcore can be so diverse… hardcore is basically about being yourself and about an attitude'' as René stated in the first issue of Bust fanzine. True Blue recorded a classic demo ''Friday, May 13th'' in 1998 and put out ''The Ice'' 7''/ MCD in 1999 on Crucial Response Records. Through out their existence True Blue played with all kind of different bands whenever they got the chance. They toured the East Coast in July of 2001 before breaking up in 2002.
