Annika von Hausswolff (then Söderholm) has now added a new vocal and the interaction between her and Freddie Wadling is complete.
The second song from the discontinued Studio Lane recordings in 1987 is Heart of Steel, here in a mix-down from that year.
The other side of the record contains a number of live songs with this particular version of Cortex: guitarists Ola Andersson and Pontus Lidgard, drummer Uno Wall and background singers Anna-Lena Karlsson and Annika von Hausswolff. and Freddie Wadling on bass and vocals. We wanted to have this set of Cortex live on the record and these recordings were made with a simple cassette tape player at Club Caesar in Gothenburg, hence the bootleg sound .. but Henryk Lipp has managed to carve out an acceptable structure.
As a bonus, the LP contains a submission in the form of an 8-page booklet, with pictures from Cortex during the 80's.
