2020 är världen annorlunda, så även Record Store Day.

Record Store Day 2020 - ursprungligen planerad till den 18 april och senare flyttad till den 20 juni kommer i år att bli lite annorlunda således.

Record Store Day 2020 kommer att äga rum på tre olika datum, lördagar i augusti, septemberSedan 2008 har Record Store Day vuxit till världens största evenemang i skivbutiker.

Record Store Day 2020 - ursprungligen planerad till den 18 april och senare flyttad till den 20 juni kommer således att bli lite annorlunda i år.

Record Store Day 2020 kommer att äga rum på tre olika datum, lördagar i augusti, september och oktober – RSD Drops

Titlarna på den officiella listan för RSD 2020, som släpptes den 5 mars, kommer att finnas i deltagande skivbutiker på ett av dessa tre ”RSD Drops”-datum:

29 augusti, 26 september och 24 oktober.

En ny version av listan, uppdelad på RSD Drops dagar kommer att släppas den 1 juni.

 Record Store Day har lika mycket handlat om spelningar i butik, att ”hänga” med likasinnade som att jaga heta och exklusiva releaser.

 Nu blir det lite annorlunda, inte bara med tre datum utan även det faktum att vi just nu i alla fall har ”social distansering”.

 Den goda nyheten för alla skivälskare är att det fortfarande kommer spännande exklusiva utgåvor. Record Store Day som organisation jobbar just nu med artister, lablar och skivbolag för att bestämma det nya ”släppschemat” och se till att varje ”RSD Drop”-datum har en spännande blandning av artister och genrer.

 Att sätta ett nytt datum RSD har inte varit enkelt för RSD som en internationell organisation. Det är ett arrangemang som sker simultant i 1000-tals butiker över hela världen, där alla har olika restriktioner och förutsättningar under detta konstiga år. Med tre datum i höst känns det som både butiker och kunder får en chans att uppleva lite av den fest Record Store Day är varje år." - https://recordstoreday.se/
