Jivin 'Jake & The Wildcats formed in 1985 and quickly became popular in Sweden and abroad. But the 1989 split, however, when the band front man Jake (James Jern) came into the country turn to the newly started band Jake & The Spitfires.
Jake & The Spitfires also became quickly popular and appeared in various television programs in Sweden. They also played ii Texas at South by Southwest Festival.
But despite all the success with country band began to James to think about his earlier career, and alongside Jake & The Spitfires are formed Jivin 'Jake & The Wildcats in 2006, with two new band members Ulf (drums) and Johan (guitars) and James (bass) who frontman.
The album Voodoo To You was given in 2010 by Scana Sweden AB and contains 20 tracks, half of which are original material and the rest are covers. The disc also contains a lot of bonus tracks, seven of the 20 tracks are namely bonus and these songs are from their earlier years, 1986-89.
Jivin 'Jake and Co. are not a pure rockabilly / rock' n 'roll bands, country tunes and swing / jive-inspired songs interspersed occasionally also on the disc that fits so everyone no matter what musical taste you have.
Is Brian Setzer and The Blasters household gods at the home of someone he can discern the influences from those above the Rock 'N' Roll gods.
A very well accepted album that will take the game mode in the CD player many times now over the summer.
