...The songs were quickly but thoroughly rehearsed, then immediately recorded during two weekends, under the supervision of producer Christoffer Lundquist.
All done in straight live-performances, for maximum presence and sincerity, but this time, having the luxury of a modern recording studio they were also able to "overdub" various percussive instruments (such as maracas, bongos, cowbells, handclaps etc.) onto an extra track, thus creating an interesting stereo effect.
The result is vintage THE MEN: supreme output and devotion, whether it's beat or ballad! Nothing for the weakhearted but something for everybody as there is crafty melodic pop, straight earthy R&B, swinging soul-music, sweet soft shoe-tappers and raving all-out screamers!
