Sharing a common vision of raw and wild rockabilly-music with influence from punk, country, surf and also hillbilly and mexican roots music, the two brothers (if it ain't family, it ain't country) Martin and Bob started Eyeballin’ Torpedoes in 2004.
They were both in-between bands. At first it was just about writing some songs. Soon they realized the songs and the swing was just too hip to be wasted.
Alex joined during 2004 and shortly after they recorded the 4-track cd "In Stereo where available" in the rehearsal room, using whatever crappy equipment available. The sound quality wasn’t all-that, but the record was still quite a success.
In the beginning of 2006 Alex left the band. And it didn't take very long before a new drummer emerged. Ante was a perfect member for Eyeballin’ Torpedoes!
He has a long and genuine love for rockabilly and country music and has also played in quite a few garage and punk-bands. Since Ante joined the band has been playin’ in clubs, festivals and also made a TV-appearance.
They started recording their debut ”Los Pobros Diablos” which was released in january 2009. The record contains 12 tracks of wickedly cool mexicana and rockabilly songs.
