Biography
The band have been working with Rolling Stones producer Chris Kimsey and most recently had their second appearance on the Mark Lamarr Show on BBC Radio.
The Congo Faith Healers are like nothing you have heard or experienced before.
Combining down and dirty swamp infested gypsy blues with wild savage guitar playing, voodoo vocals, latin american drum and trumpet grooves with rockabilly swing double bass and hooks that you will be singing for days, they have one of the most intense and utterly compelling live shows around.
Having been taken on by top industry producers they band have previously worked with Chris Kimsey (who has recorded albums for the Rolling Stones, the Gypsy Kings ,Jimmy Cliff, New Model Army) and also with Grammy Award winner Cameron Craig (who has worked with Tina Turner, Robbie Williams, Amy Winehouse). Steve Booker who co wrote Duffys Mercy values Sonny West as a prolific songwriter.
As culturally diverse and unique as the bands image and members is also their twelve track debut album which was recorded in just two days and has been blazing a trail across the land to unprecedented reviews.
