Blue Bell, or Hudson Overall
Company as it originally was
named, was founded by CC
Hudson and his brother Homer
Hudson in Greensbro, North
Carolina. After a while they
switched name to Blue Bell,
after a bell that was hanging
in the factory, all blue by
the dust from the denim. Blue
Bell did worker- and army
clothes, but 1947 they started
to work with Wrangler and
Rodeo Ben and the
classic jeans, shirts and
jackets was produced.
