The story of The Cremators is the story of how two persons' half serious living room jam sessions turned into an unstoppable and relentless punkabilly-monster.
It all starts in 2005 when Björn and Fille start writing some songs in Björns bachelor pad, really without any thought that it would end up as a band, but just for the fun of it.
This was for the simple reason that none of them thought there were anyone else in that Satan forsaken town called Helsingborg that would be interested in that kind of music.
But somehow they actually found more people that were interested and who could actually play instruments at that, and so with Lucas Arsons characteristic voice at the front The Cremators was finally a fact!
Right from the start, the song writing was characterized by their love of the drive of that double bass and their mutual past in punkrock, hardcore and other kinds of hard rock music.
Lyric wise Björn was, and still is, mostly taking inspiration from all the sick things going on in peoples' heads, the life these people live and how they die, even if one or two classical horror lyrics have slipped through the net during the years.
Anyway, the result they simply called Flaming hot rock'n'roll!
A demo was recorded, gigs were booked and more and more people got their eyes opened up on the fact that Sweden had something new to offer in the psychobilly genre!
After that it rolled on down the line with gigs in all the Nordic countries and Germany, and The Cremators had the pleasure of sharing stage with a lot of their personal favourite bands such as Mad Sin, Frantic Flintstones, Coffinshakers, Rezurex, Guana Batz, Klingonz and Johnny Nightmare, among many others!
At that they got a reputation for being a damn good live act, that always delivers what people want from a rock'n'roll show; Energy, attitude and a healthy dose of insanity!
A couple of demos more and an EP released in corporation with Heptown Records made way for the debut full length "The New Breed", which will be released in March of 2012 by that very label, Heptown Records. This single When Demons Come Around/Grace Is Gone is taken from that album.
So now more gigs await, more madness and even more rock'n'roll! Because just like The Cremators predicts on their first demo: The best is yet to come!
These handsome devils call themselves The Cremators!
